Fish with his livestock got me thinking. In my younger years we had cattle, chickens, a pig (my younger sister wanted a white pig, like on Green Acres).
A friend I grew up with has a number of things. Her biggest group, Chickens. She get between 12-24 eggs a day. When they went to $5-6 a dozen, she was a good friend to have. I stopped by one day, she had me boxed up 10 dozen eggs. That’s about $60 of eggs.
So now I’m talking with her, she’s raising these miniature chickens. This is what she’s raising: https://www.backyardchickens.com/articles/seramas-the-smallest-chicken-in-the-world.78388/
The roosters sell for around $150 in the US. I’m going to try to stop by a see these up close. Seramas are the smallest chickens in the world.
