LSU QB room had essentially devolved back to the Miles days where we literally couldn't buy a decent QB.

I stand by the opinion I had back then.
it wasn't a talent issue at QB, it was a coaching/development issue.

when a QB goes "backwards" the longer he stays, that's coaching, not talent.
talent doesn't disappear in your early 20s.
