Forum questions and assistance

Thought I would post a thread for asking questions about the forum.


My first one is - Is there anyway to advance the topics when trying to read the threads? I can't seem to figure it out and am having to go back to the main page every time. What am i missing?

I'm not sure I 100% understand the question, but have you tried the "Jump to new" button?

Also, Google might have an answer...if any settings need to be tweaked let me know and I'll do my best to change those.

I had not even seen that button. I will try it

If your eyes are bothered by the white background on the site, go to your profile, go to Preferences, and up at the top is something called "style variations" which is set to "system" by default. On the right of that line is a toggle switch that will pull down a couple of options, and DARK is one of them. You then have to go to the bottom of that long page and SAVE your preference. Then the forum will display with a black background and white text. It is much easier on my old eyes.

You can also scroll down to the bottom left of any page and there is an icon that shows what style variation you have. You can see this immediately below the "Campus Life > The Student Union" crumb bar. Here is what it looks like when you hover over the icon:
