According to Chris Low, we get shafted with Arky and A&M as penmanents
Glad we keep Ole Miss, but seriously we're the only original member of the SEC that doesn't get at least 2 other original members as permanents.

Permanent for four years. Wonder what the criteria will be if a change is made then? I thought it would be Aggy, OM and Bama. Looks like they are still trying to force a rivalry with Arky. My daughter and her family have been in Little Rock for the last 2 1/2 years (coming back to LA next year though!!!) and I can tell you the Arky fans hate LSU. No idea why. Arky is the bridesmaid of the SEC. Never quite good enough.

They were NEVER going to give Alabama LSU along with Auburn and Tennessee, and Alabama was always going to play those 2.

Should've kept Florida instead of TAMU, but Florida probably cried because they have Georgia and wanna keep Miami and FSU.

Who do you think Arkansas hates more than LSU? I know WE don't consider that a rivalry, but bet your ass they do.

people keep repeating this line.
but Alabama has played all 3 of those teams every single year since the Kennedy Administration.

Florida doesn't play Miami every year.
excluding Bowl games, they've only played each other 7 times since the '88

who gives a shit what Arkansas thinks?

Dude things changed when they went to 9 games. Not sure you realized that is what all of this is about.
Also Arkansas and South Carolina were recently added to the conference 35ish years ago. You may have missed it.

You're the oldest 40 something year old I know lol 😆

yeah the entire conference turned into a bunch of soft little bitches.

and?
we let Idaho become a state in the 1890's. doesn't mean anyone gives a shit about their opinion.

oh right, "progress"
YAY!!!!
we can have a softer shittier schedule and play more teams we don't give a shit about!

want to guess who are the only 2 original members to not play at least 2 of their top 5 most played rivals a permanents?
LSU and Vandy.
we got the fucking VANDY treatment with this bullshit.

Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Ole Miss, State, Tennessee and even Texas all got 2 of their top 3.
Hell Tennessee got their entire top 3 as permanents.

We get to play the SWC.
in fact, we play twice as many SWC permanently as the entire rest of the original member do COMBINED.

I hope every cocksucker involved in this decision has sneezing fit while stuck in Houston traffic and suffering from explosive diarrhea.

Lol going to 9 conference games is a softer schedule??

We play Alabama next season. We'll play them every couple years. In fact, we play Florida or Bama every year during this time frame.
In 4 years, this will change and we'll probably play them "permanently" at that point. You just like to hear yourself whine lol.

For an English major, your reading comprehension skills really suck.

9 was happening no matter what
I'm comparing the 3 annuals we got vs the 3 annuals we SHOULD HAVE gotten.

no, this will be "reevaluated" in 4 years, no promise of a change.

Alabama will still play Tennessee and Auburn. And in your words "they're never going to give LSU on top of those 2"
with our luck, they'll take away Ole Miss and give us the other Landmass school instead.

Oh no whatever shall we do lol. There's literally nothing any of us can do and in reality, it's not that big a deal. We get to play Georgia and Texas more often. We get less of a chance to play Nichols or SELA. The horror.

I don't understand how this is softer and shittier. It's not what YOU want, but it's absolutely not softer or shittier.

you seriously don't see how playing A&M and not Alabama is softer and shittier?
you seriously don't think playing Arkansas instead of Florida is softer and shittier (in way more years than not)?

there's nothing any of us can do about literally anything we discuss on this site.

Saban isn't there anymore, dummy. Alabama isn't that team anymore.

Georgia will be on the schedule more. Texas will be on the schedule more. We still play either Alabama and Florida. TAMU is in prime September/October form so they're great (until the annual Aggie meltdown), we will have better non-conference games, it's all good. That's not softer. We play Auburn next year! Can't wait for that podcast lol.

Also, I'm just glad we don't have to deal with Auburn anymore. Pretty sure they've won 64 championships or something according to west Georgia math

oh, I'm sorry I must have imagined hating Alabama before I even knew Nick Saban existed.

must have been some other school that has more SEC titles pre-Saban than any other SEC school has in their entree history.

as compared to Arkansas and A&M who have combined to win a whopping ZERO titles since the start of WWII (sorry Arky, claiming 1964 doesn't mean you actually won it that year).

The focus now is to make the 12 team playoff. I’m for what gets us there more often than not. The old traditional rivals don’t mean as much to me anymore now that we are in pay 💰 to play. Your team every year is what you need and can afford. Not the college football I fell in love with. Still watch and am interested but it’s become NFL-lite.
