The No. 2 seeded LSU women's basketball team (27-5) will host No. 15 Jacksonville in the first round of the 2026 NCAA Tournament on Friday, March 20, 2026. The game is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center (PMAC) in Baton Rouge and will be broadcast on ESPN.

LSU defeated Jacksonville 116 - 58. The scoring was balanced with Flau jae, Mikayla and Jada leading the way. I like the play of freshman Grace Knox. She has a great competitive spirit, some spirit like Jarvis Landry had.
LSU will face Texas Tech at 2 p.m. CT on Sunday at the PMAC in Baton Rouge. The game will be on ABC.
LSU has to count on a few freshmen to play like sophomores now that they have a season in the SEC under their belts. U Conn seems to be the favorite to win it all.

LSU defeated Texas Tech easily 101 - 47. Flau Jae Johnson and Mikayla Williams each scored 24 points. LSU clogged the middle on defense and didn't let Tech score in close, and Tech was off on their three point attempts. The LSU squad had a mission to send Flau Jae off with a win in her last game in the PMAC, and the crowd was loud and appreciative. Kim took the Sr.s out individually and the crowd cheered them loudly.

LSU loses at the Sweet 16, to Duke, 87 - 85. LSU shots were not falling in the first half, except Fulwiley was great driving to the basket; she had 18 points by halftime. LSU was down in the last 2 minutes by about 7 points, went on a 10-2 run and took a one point lead with 9 seconds left. Duke inbounded and missed a shot but the ball went out of bounds off LSU with 2.6 seconds left. Duke inbounded and a lady got free and hit a 3 pointer at the buzzer. Few 3 pointers for LSU, our shooters were off. Duke has a good club and they played excellent defense.
