2026: Official Football Recruiting Topic

A note from Dandy Don today:

"Now that all of that is starting to fall into place, we’ll soon turn our attention to what should be another very exciting time when the transfer portal’s 15-day window opens on Jan. 2. That “window” comes with a few exceptions — players in the College Football Playoff get an extra five days, and players impacted by coaching changes get a 15-day window after a new hire.

That, combined with Kiffin’s history, the resources he’s reportedly been given for roster building, and the fact that LSU will lose at least 28 players and signed only 14 players during the early period, means this portal cycle will likely be the most active and intriguing one yet. "

I was hoping after he was completely wrong about everything since 10/25, people would quit giving Scott so much credit lol. I miss his dad though

i didn’t even know they still ran that site.
does it still look like it was created in the 90s?

I read Dandy Don. I like getting exposed to other's thoughts on all things LSU.

Others thoughts aren't solid without sources. Scott's dad had sources. But sources change with every staff though. I know a guy that was buddies with Brad Davis. There goes his source lol.

Dandy Don is just nostalgia at this point.

Exact same format.

It's cool and in the 90s/ early 2000s was way ahead of it's time. It's really like just a fan reporting on LSU from a homer perspective...like us lol. Except we have adapted with technology and pay sites have better access. Every press conference, I hear Shea Dixon ask questions and get answers and I've never heard Scott Long. He doesn't have program access. He's just a fan like us.

Can't read that article in the link without subscribing

But, Peterson is actually enrolling early, not waiting till February to sign.

3* had been committed to WVU but he's a track star built like a Corey Raymond DB at 6'2" 185 lbs.

He's starting school at LSU next week.
