And yet the national sports media is silent about the dumpster fire that is Penn State. Imagine if that were LSU: the hit pieces would be twice daily.
I listened to quite a bit of sports radio on my drive home this weekend.

like the media (local and national) have zero clue what Penn State is doing.

in all honesty, I wondered early on why they were listed as being a desirable spot.
first, many many people still vividly remember the Pedo shit that went on there.
the fan base was really rough on O'Buttchin his 2 years there.
then they fire a coach only 6 games into a season immediately following a CFB Playoff semi-finals run.

Only to have their ex-coach get hired by another program and watch the top athletes that were committed follow him.
Yeah, I don't think they ever really paid the price for looking the other way when Sandusky was raping teenagers.
that should have been a death penalty case.
the problem is when you get into the legality of the situation.
NCAA rules are all only about athletics. Even the rules for off field issues are all athletic based (recruiting, practice times, you name it). Nothing in the rule book about laws, etc.
so technically speaking, that shit wasn't "against NCAA rules".
