that’s where you screwed up.
Pakistan is way too easy to infiltrate and find out you’re not there.

Pakistan allows beer, Yeman does not. He knows they are keeping me comfortable while they wait for the ransom which is way less than hiring a platoon of drunk sailors to snatch me out.

while NIL absolutely without a doubt plays a huge part in these decisions, I don't think that's the "only" thing that matters like a lot of people insinuate.

With any coaching change there is a period of entropy after the new coach comes aboard.
I don't fault them for taking a little time to make sure the important decision they are about to make is the correct one. I mean, Lane Kiffin was officially announced as LSU's new head coach literally 3 days before they were scheduled to sign on the dotted line.
Most will sign because they are signing to play at a specific institution. The press has gone out of its way to portray CLK as an egotistical maniac and opportunist. I'm fine with them taking a little time to get to know him and dispel that charcterization.
