Kiffin called a 9 AM meeting with his team to inform them of his decision. Meanwhile a few planes from LSU are in Oxford to fly Kiffin, his family, and others to Baton Rouge.

I'm guessing we'll probably have a press conference around 2 or 3 PM.

This thought hit me. Most (I think ALL) of you are too young to remember the vitriol of LSU fans against Paul Dietzel when he left LSU in 1961. There was some serious hate. And of all things, he went to ARMY!!!???? Later he went to S. Carolina and they played LSU and we whipped them. That was satisfying. Later Dietzel became AD at a number of schools, including a few years at LSU. The fans did not want to let Dietzel back in Baton Rouge, but players who played for him went to bat for him and they got him back as AD.

I was just thinking, that is how OM will feel about Kiffin, even worse than Tenn.
