Man I'm just telling you what I see with my own eyes. Our O is bad, really bad. We couldn't run on Tech. I was hoping Nuss was hurt so there would at least be a chance but now I'm seeing reports that he isn't hurt at all and that he just sucks.
So yeah you thinking we breeze through the rest of this season with an OL that can't do their job and a QB that is lazy then I'd surely call that optimistic. I want to be wrong, hope like hell I'm wrong but we are what, 5 games in and I think we are worse now than in game 1. I have a friend in SC that wanted to bet me on the game. I said hell no, I can't bet when I don't think they will win.

I never said it would be a breeze. It's the SEC. But you assume the absolute worst. If I was assuming the best, I'd say we're not losing another game. I never said that. But you just assume we're going 7-5 or worse. You always have the negative tilt, never a smidgen of reality.

I've said multiple times (even started an entire thread about it) that our offense is dog shit and needs fixing.
But while you're comparing LSU to what LSU should be, I'm comparing LSU to our upcoming opponents (since that's who we actually play the games against).
Our defense has held every single opponent so far well below their season averages in points scored. EVERY. SINGLE. ONE.
That alone will give us a fighting chance in just about every game going forward.
This week we're playing against the team currently chilling in last place in the conference in Offense.
which means even the offense we've been seeing can likely muster enough points to score more than our defense will allow against them.
and that's all the offense "has" to do.
I'm gonna hold you to that.

We have to get some positive traction with the offense this week so we at least have something to build on. Hopefully Berry is learning all the playbook and can get involved more.
